BUILT WITH PURPOSE
Endgame Jiu Jitsu was built around a simple idea: better coaching creates better learning.
We don't measure progress by how many techniques we can show. We create an environment where people learn to understand Jiu Jitsu, solve problems and develop skills they can apply against resistance.
That philosophy shapes everything we do — from a child's first class to experienced athletes refining their game.
START AT THE END.
WE DON'T START WITH TECHNIQUES.
WE START WITH THE PROBLEM.
Jiu Jitsu is often taught by starting with a technique: watch, copy, repeat.
At Endgame, we approach learning differently. We begin with the problem that needs to be solved, then create situations that allow athletes to explore, make decisions and develop solutions against real resistance.
We call it Start at the End — define the outcome first, then work backwards to build the skills and understanding required to get there.
The result is Jiu Jitsu that isn't simply memorised. It's understood.
THE COACHING STANDARD.
COACHING IS MORE THAN SHOWING TECHNIQUES.
Great coaching isn't measured by how much information a coach can deliver. It's measured by what the athlete learns to see, understand and eventually solve for themselves.
Endgame is led by Coach Damus, one of Tasmania's most experienced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coaches, with decades spent training, competing, teaching and developing athletes.
His approach continues to evolve around a simple responsibility: create the best possible environment for people to learn.
That means less unnecessary instruction. Better problems. More purposeful practice. And coaching that develops independent, adaptable Jiu Jitsu.
THE ENDGAME CULTURE.
SERIOUS ABOUT LEARNING.
SERIOUS ABOUT PEOPLE.
Endgame is a place to train hard, think deeply and keep getting better — without ego getting in the way.
We believe great training environments can be both demanding and supportive. Athletes should be challenged, encouraged to experiment, allowed to make mistakes and surrounded by people who want to see each other improve.
TRAIN WITH PURPOSE
Every round should teach you something.
LEAVE YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR
Progress requires curiosity, humility and the willingness to fail.
MAKE THE ROOM BETTER
Good training partners don't just improve themselves. They help everyone around them improve.
EXPERIENCE ENDGAME.
THE BEST WAY TO UNDERSTAND
HOW WE TRAIN IS TO TRAIN WITH US.
